Failed to convert the configuration file for use by device. This is the error I get when i try to open my simulator. Then i get an error saying "prontoEdit NG has encountered a problem and needs to close". Does anyone have any ideas or is any one willing to take a look at my file. I can email it to you.

I have a feeling this can happen if your PCF is too big.

That wasn't the problem Dan. I just spend about 10 mins fooling around with your set-up and I discoverd that the size wasn't the problem (suprisingly) I tried deleting your "device" page and I started getting issue's with the Layout. When I re-did your layout I found out that was the thing stopping it. Try deleting the "device" page and it should work.

Dan, I'll try to get this to you tomrow. I am having to spend most of my time this week studying for finals.

Edit: I'll have to re-do your whole set-up because I get errors while trying to delete this aswell. I'll try to get this to you ASAP.

I have tried to merge it with a new configuration and that didn't work for me. This used to work fine.

MANNN!!!!! My stupid computer came up with an error right when I was about to save the right working config and It got deleted!!! All you have to do is copy your pages except the Device page and re-work it around that. It should work fine, I had it done until my comp messed it up! Sorry.

So does it have to be built from new? If so is there a good PCF? Do you have time to look at it any more?

Try creating a new, empty PCF then merge your PCF into it.
